[ Anaxagoras is simply in here to scope out the surroundings...for now.

Nothing more, nothing else. But, how much so? Well... ]

...I'm merely taking the opportunity to look around in the immediate environment, than do much with it at this point in time.

[ Also, right now, he so happens to have two dromas horns sat atop his head - which means that they are bright white, and have a draconic appearance. ]

...I think so as well.

[ Anaxagoras believes that it should really not have been converted from apparently a classroom to this? At least that's what it appears to him...it is far too strange, all things considered. ]

There are dire implications if this room needed to be changed to a morgue. It could have something to do with what was spoken upon in the chapel by those phantoms.

Yes, I meant that disease.

[ So it could be definitely somehow related... ]

...There simply could have not been enough room anywhere. It does feel like a last resort.

Open up a space to place dead bodies here or there. Though, that would be unfortunate in of itself.

...disturbing.

[ Anaxagoras frowns, listening to this, but he understands - he knows that this is true. ]

That could very well be it. Not to mention if they were contaminated by disease, burying them traditionally might not have been for the best.

If the disease mentioned briefly in the church is what caused such high mortality rates, and it was one that was highly dangerous, burying them would make it difficult to study.

[ Especially if it were highly volatile and infectious, as it were. If people were looking for a cure, the best way to be certain to have access to viable dead bodies to observe would be a place to easily pull them out.

Digging them out from six feet under would be a pain. ]

As well as if there were further complications or some other superstitions present about burying the bodies of the infected.

Then, of course, we have your possibility that there was then subsequently not enough room elsewhere.
anaxagoreia: (lxxi.)

[personal profile] anaxagoreia 2025-11-17 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
It probably is.

[ He thinks this is reasonable to conclude...it has to still be somewhere, right? ]

And we'll have to deal with it, in whatever shape or form it comes at us.

Which is why it has to be something supernatural in nature.

[ Anaxagoras believes for it to be more than something like that in the first place, but it's hard to say what best fits it.

Maybe originally it first started out as a normal disease, and then...hm... well he will mull more on that, later. ]

Or elsewhere. We should keep in mind we might run into it in other places as well.

week 2, tuesday

[personal profile] anaxagoreia 2025-11-18 03:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Anaxagoras strides into the kitchen, resisting the urge to wrinkle his nose. Who to thought the elements still persisted in an irritating way?

Somehow he isn't surprised. Whatever the case he is here for a warm meal, and as such, notices someone else.

What is Ludger up to? ]
anaxagoreia: (xiv.)

[personal profile] anaxagoreia 2025-11-18 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course.

[ Anaxagoras will only suddenly think smaller thoughts when there is suddenly a dromas...for the most part.

Fortunately for Ludger Anaxagoras also seems to catch onto what he may be looking for. ]

...Are you attempting to explore not only the causation, but the poasible subject of a symbiotic connection between the two?

It is entirely possible that, if the disease mutated, or came into contact with another force that helped it transform into what it is today, I wouldn't discount the possibility.

[ Or perhaps Anaxagoras is making too much of a leap himself. Still, it is food for thought. ]

[ Anaxagoras is watching all of this as Ludger is at work, then! The ghostly presence is an aggravation on top of everything that sums up the entirety of this week.

But, that is no surprise; as for him he'll scowl, looking around, before nodding at the other. Maybe first in greeting. ]

...I'll take some. Having something from the mysterious hands in the kitchen isn't bound to be wise. [ ... ] What did you make?

[personal profile] anaxagoreia 2025-11-20 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Standard faire for our situation.

[ At the least, Anaxagoras seems accustomed to that. Though, with that said... ]

I do recall we had videos that showcased people transforming and whatnot, though those did not linger. We'll likely have to dig deeper to find something far more tangible.

I believe they're likely to be around somewhere, regardless. There is no conceivable way no one would have not bothered to leave behind a written record...no matter what state it could be in.

[ Did Ludger end up injuring himself at some point? He kind of looks at that for a moment and then peering back on over at the refrigerator.

Danishes with chicken noodle soup? Well, he's had stranger combinations. ]

Chicken noodle soup?

I'm not particularly picky about my food.

[ Unless it's something extremely bitter and even then he'll probably be fine with it. He will continue to patiently wait for Ludger to set things up, as it were, and then ask: ]

Did you manage to hurt yourself while preparing food?
