Overgrown plants and no wildlife seems to be about the shape of it. And captive specimens don't really qualify as wild...

It's pretty strange, isn't it? Not having some of that ambient noise in the background from things like birds or insects.

I know we didn't have much in Elympios, but even that was more than this. Does that make this place worse off than we were?

Probably. There's plants everywhere, but with what we now know about the well water ... well, the way they grow here likely isn't entirely natural.

So if we take even that away... the state of things in Elympios was bad, but this place somehow manages to have us beat.

It's not like the plants outside of the central area are thriving either, though. It kind of makes me wonder if all the mana is being pulled to one spot instead.

Maybe not thriving exactly, but there's still enough of them to reclaim some of the buildings here.

Almost makes you wonder what some of your spirit friends would make of this. How quickly and drastically the weather changes almost feels like going from one spirit clime to another in Rieze Maxia...
